According to a study published in Clinical Sports Medicine[i] "In spite of the widespread use of NSAIDs there is no convincing evidence as to their effectiveness in the treatment of acute soft tissue injuries”. In a study published in The Archives of Internal Medicine[ii] Anti-inflammatory drugs hamper the healing process of all soft tissues, including muscles, ligaments, tendons, and cartilage. NSAIDs can delay healing and delay it significantly, even in muscles with their tremendous blood supply”. From these and other studies it is apparent that the status quo of treating orthopedic injuries must be challenged and changed.
The change I am proposing is to first utilize your Tao-Well to address all of your minor aches and pains with natural, evidence based, interventions. With the Tao-Well manuals and your Tao-Well you can address all of your sore and achy muscles with self-care interventions that include:
- Therapeutic Stretching
- Therapeutic Massage
- Therapeutic Acupressure
- Therapeutic Systemic Circulation
